Last updated: October 31, 2026. This policy describes how Rail & Rye Racing, a digital-publication brand operated by a sole proprietor based in Georgia, United States, handles personal information related to this website and publication purchases.
Information we collect
When you purchase a publication or request access to an earlier order, we may process your email address, the product purchased, order reference, price and currency, payment and refund status, purchase date, PDF download count, email-delivery and recovery events, and related security records. If you contact support, we also process the information you choose to provide. The hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser details, request timestamps and other technical information necessary to operate and protect the site.
How we use it
We use this information to process and fulfill purchases, deliver secure download links, recover eligible orders, answer support requests, process refunds, prevent abuse, maintain site security and transaction records, and comply with applicable legal or financial obligations. Buying a publication does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails.
Service providers
Stripe processes card payments and related transaction information. We do not ask buyers to send full payment-card numbers or card security codes to us. Cloudflare provides website hosting, private publication storage, database infrastructure, security features and inbound support-email routing. Resend sends transactional purchase-delivery and recovery emails from orders@railandryeracing.com. Our providers process relevant information to deliver their services under their respective terms and privacy notices.
Sharing and retention
We disclose personal information to service providers when necessary for the uses described above, or when required by law. We do not sell purchaser email lists to advertisers. We retain purchase, delivery, security and support records as reasonably necessary for order support, chargebacks, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal or regulatory obligations. New purchases have a seven-day PDF access period; earlier purchases may have different access periods. Download-access limits do not mean purchase or transaction records are deleted when access expires.
Security and browser technologies
Purchased PDFs are held in nonpublic storage and are delivered using time-limited, authorization-checked links. We use security and operational controls intended to protect purchases and customer information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Stripe, Cloudflare and related services may use essential cookies or similar technical signals for payment processing, abuse prevention and site operation. Their handling of information may be described in their own privacy notices.
Your requests and choices
You may contact support@railandryeracing.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to ask about our data practices. We will evaluate requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify that the requester is entitled to the information and may retain certain records where law, security, disputes or accounting obligations permit or require it.
Children and policy updates
Our publications are intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact support. We may update this policy when our practices change and will show the new revision date on this page. If a change requires additional notice under applicable law, we will provide it.
